37 Weeks....

We attended Passover dinner at our cousin Meredith's house.  We had the most delicious meal and a lively discussion!  As always, it was a very fun evening.  Meredith and Eric are expecting their first child in September, so Meredith and I took our first picture of the babies together!  You can't really tell in the picture, but she definitely has the start of a small baby bump!  So exciting!!

The Nursery is Done!

Jared and I spent this last weekend finishing the nursery!!  We are so excited to have a beautiful room, and we are now just waiting for the arrival of our baby girl!  It took awhile to put everything together, but I think we finally have everything washed and sterilized.  I am sure we'll have more to do when she gets here, but this is all we can think of now.  The hospital bag is also packed, so the countdown has officially begun!

Here are some pics of the nursery:

Oh yes, and we finalized the name!!  Our baby girls will be Sara Marie Newman!  Sara is after Jared's grandmother Sylvia, and Marie is after my grandmother's middle name.  We are very excited to name our baby after two wonderful women =)

Philly Baby Shower

The first weekend in March was very eventful for Jared and I.  On Saturday, we attended a birthing class where we learned the ins and outs of child birth.  It was great to be informed, but also a little terrifying to think that the birth is getting closer every day!

On Sunday, Jessy and Fern threw me a wonderful baby shower at our house in Conshy.  It was amazing to have so many friends and family (again!) in one place.  The shower was complete with a diaper cake, make-your-own headbands, beautiful flowers, chocolates and candy, and of course delicious foods!  They really outdid themselves.  I had a wonderful time and received some amazing gifts.  Here are some pics from the day:

Babymoon...

February was a busy month for Jared and I.  After the party we threw for Fern, we went on a "babymoon" to the Hershey Hotel for a long weekend.  I was most excited to take a day off of school and go to the spa!  The hotel itself was a little dead, considering it was the middle of winter.  However, we had fun going to Chocolate World, floating in the pool, and eating tons of food and chocolate!  I swear there was chocolate in every corner of this hotel...

The highlight of the weekend was of course going to the spa at the hotel.  I got there early to drink hot chocolate and eat muffins in the quiet room.  Jared showed up a little later looking awkward and uncomfortable in his robe!  I am not sure that he'll ever be going back to the spa =)  I enjoyed being able to lay on my stomach though with a big whole cut out where my belly hung.

We were terrible about taking pictures over our weekend of relaxation, but here are a few that I managed to get.

When we checked into the hotel, they gave us two chocolate bars (followed by York Peppermint Patties before bed).  We stayed in one of their log cabin suites, which I would highly recommend.

Here I am outside of Chocolate World and then Jared and I on the cocoa bean ride.

We got dressed up for dinner on Saturday night.  Unfortunately, the picture isn't the best, but I had to capture one with my baby belly!
